Brooker Trading Co is on the look out for the next legend to join our tight knit team and busy cafe. Our crew is fun-loving, professional and focuses on providing Moree with great customer service. We are a family owned business situated in the heart of Moree's main street.

Restaurant Manager

Tasks include:

· Greet guests

· Train, manage and supervise waiting and kitchen staff

· Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions

· Arrange the purchase and pricing of goods according to budget

· Plan menus in consultation with Chef/Cook

· Plan and organise events + special functions

· Confer with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service

· Ensure health regulations are adhered to and that the café is clean, functional and of suitable appearance

Cook

Tasks include:

· Follow kitchen schedule and daily tasks

· Prepare and cook food

· Season food while cooking

· Regulate oven/grills/other cooking equipment temperatures

· Portion food, plate food and add sauces/garnishes

· Store food in temperature controlled fridge/freezer/coolroom

· Prepare food to meet dietary requirements

· Examine food to ensure quality

Barista

Tasks include:

· Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages

· Clean and maintains espresso machines and coffee-making areas

· Maintain and operate other coffee equipment

· Promote services and products at the café

· Wash milk jugs and arrange bottles and glasses

· Replenish drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators

· Take customer orders and collect payment for sales

Waiter

Tasks include:

· Set and arrange tables

· Greet customers and provide them with menu(s)

· Take orders and relay to kitchen staff

· Serve food and beverages

· Clear tables and return dishes and cutlery to the kitchen

· Refill and replace glasses

· Collect payment for sales and operate registers

Kitchen hand

Tasks include:

· Clean kitchen and food preparation areas

· Clean cooking and general utensils

· Transfer, weigh and check supplies and equipment

· Assemble and prepare ingredients for cooking

· Prepare salads, savouries, sandwiches

· Pack food and beverages for serving

· Cook, toast and heat food

Qualifications: Food Handling Certificate Level 1, all other training will be provided

No experience is required.
